aboutme2

Hannah Josey is a surface pattern designer currently based in the north of England. She uses her individual drawings and print making skills to create bold homewares. Within the rural landscape she loves, her influences are found in colour and form within nature’s finer details.

Her fascination with kitsch decoration, comic art and clashing colours are apparent in her designs. She uses a mixture of black lines and mark-making in hand drawn illustrations, which are developed into designs through the use of printmaking and Photoshop into repeats.

She graduated from Leeds College of Art in 2011 with a 2:1 degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design.
